Privacy

The Yak Build does not use cookies, analytics or any other tracking. This page explains the little data that is still processed when you visit.

Who runs this site

This blog is run by Yak Build, who is the controller of personal data processed through it. You can get in touch at hello@example.com.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party embeds. Fonts and images are served from this domain, not from external services.

Server logs

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc.. Like any web host, it processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse: your IP address, the time of the request, the address requested and your browser's user-agent string.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting provider acts as a processor, keeps these logs for a short time and may process them outside the European Economic Area under the EU standard contractual clauses.

E-mail

If you write to me, I use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when the conversation is over, unless the law requires otherwise.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data and get a copy of it,
  • have it corrected or erased,
  • restrict its processing,
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest,
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

Changes

If the site ever starts using cookies or analytics, this page will be updated first, and nothing that requires your consent will run before you give it.
